1841 stock certificate purchased by Thomas Bucklin. It represented 22 shares valued at 550 dollars and was signed by treasurer and businessman Lee Claflin and by clerk S.D. Davenport. The high school also known as Hopkinton Academy was incorporated in the 1840's and was financed by share holders.
