There was a Richardson's Wool Washeries in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, as early as 1921. In 1944 a Richardson's Wool Washeries Ltd. was established in Port Elizabeth. Note the British spelling of carbonising in 0000.1721.9, rather than the American version (carbonizing). No trace of a Richardson's Wool Washeries could be found in the United States.
