Item Information
- Title:
- Nashua River
- Description:
-
The beautiful Nashua River takes its name from the Native American word Nash-a-way, meaning "River with the Pebbled Bottom." From the Meeting of the Waters in Lancaster, the river flows in a northeasterly direction for 56 miles toward New Hampshire and the Merrimack River. This view shows an annual clean-up day in 1999.
