Description:
Ellen Richardson informs William Lloyd Garrison that she recieved his letter and that it "corresponds with my own sentiments as it regards our mutual dear friend Geo. Thompson." Richardson continues discussing her efforts to raise money for Thompson and to "find some profitable occupation for him now," including lecturing in America. She also assures Garrison that Thompson knows about her work on his behalf.

Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed in black ink on blue paper. Under the salutation, the number "107" is written in pencil, while in the head- spine corner a small checkmark was also drawn in pencil. After the fourth page the letter continues and overlaps the text, with the handwriting running vertically and facing the spine edge of the fourth page before continuing back on to the first page and facing the fore edge.
