Description:
Daniel Ricketson writes to William Lloyd Garrison about making a correction in some verses he has just sent to the Liberator. He tells Garrison, "Don't hesistate to reject the lines" and he has "great confidence in your judgement." Ricketson explains that his verses "were not intended for publication" before excusing his absence from the annual Anti-Slavery meeting. He also expresses his "regret, that other matters for a time led me astray" from the antislavery movement.
