Theodore Dwight Weld writes to William Lloyd Garrison explaining that while he "cannot be with you personally as you request" he is sending him letters for Garrison to use at his discretion. He advises Garrison "Don't take up a precious moment of the Convention with it" as the meeting "will probably be flooded with letters."
