Description:
George Thompson writes to William Lloyd Garrison sending him one of two photographs he received of Mrs. Nichol (not included). Thompson also passes along news of the death of Mr. John Wigham, father of Eliza Wigham, remarking that "Eliza and her mother will be very lonely." He then tells Garrison of his plans to travel to Cleveland and his homesickness, stating that "I remain un-visited, until I mope & wish for wings to fly away." Thompson repeats his offer to Garrison for an "occasional conference [which] w[oul]d be pleasant to me and sometimes, profitable to both."
