Description:
Eliza Wigham writes to William Lloyd Garrison that she heard he was in London and asks "if any hope exists of thy coming so far North" to visit her in Edinburgh. Wigham discusses Garrison's busy visiting schedule and suggests he takes the "through train, cheap & quick, from London to Edinburgh" and visits "the more Southern places on your way to Birmingham." She also shares her hope that he "will be able to do something for the poor freed slaves" and that he was "envigorated and refreshed by thy sojourn in Europe."
