Letter from Anne Warren Weston to Deborah Weston, [1839]
Description:
Anne Warren Weston writes to Deborah Weston in regards to business and money matters concerning books, in particular, "Lessons without Books." She writes of George Bradburn and says "he has torn Minot Thayer all the pieces as you will see in the next Liberator." Tomorrow, Wendell [Phillips] and [John A.] Collins come down to Weymouth to Mr. Perkins' Meeting house. She writes, "I envy you the Bristol meeting. Pray stir up all the friends to do their duty." In a separate note, she wrties for her to return these notes by the stage or some other way as soon as she can.
