Additional information on item: Another new Sack Theatre has been announced for Boston. Groundbreaking ceremonies were held yesterday (Monday Feb. 19) for the Sack Pie Alley Theatre, on the site of the old Boston Post. The 800 seat theatre with 1000 car parking garage above all will feature all-process projection and is the first of 40 such theater/garages planned for metropolitan centers across the country. The national expansion policy was announced at the same time as the pending merger of Sack Theatres and Plume & Atwood Brass & Copper Corp. of Thomaston, Conn.
