Letter from Anna Paul, Northampton, [Mass.], to William Lloyd Garrison, Nov[ember] 21 / [18]50
Description:
Anna Paul informs William Lloyd Garrison that she is unable to complete her article for the Anti-Slavery Fair, and sends it to him as-is. Paul requests that Garrison affix a label to the article explaining that it remains incomplete owing to its creator being afflicted with invalidism. Paul rejoices over the success of the abolitionist cause, and states that it is a sign of encouragement for the future. Paul declares her gladness to learn that George Thompson is once again in the United States, and recounts insults previously offered to him by citizens of Boston.
