Description:
James Miller M'Kim relates to Samuel May, Jr. his labors in New York City with the American Freedmen's Aid Union. M'Kim states that he had returned to Germantown for a few days' rest, and came upon May's letter by accident. M'Kim relates conflicting reports presented to him by mutual friends relating to the quality of the new newspaper "The Nation" to Garrison.
