Holograph, signed with initials.
William Lloyd Garrison tells about the details of daily life, including electrical treatments, massages, baths, meals, etc. He writes: "Dr. Dow will do all in his power to help me along, as he takes a deep personal interest in the case." Garrison says: "I have come across a mineral water in this city, obtained from Poland, Maine, which is excellent for all kinds of humors, kidney and liver complaints, dyspepsia, neuralgia, dropsy, &c., and intend to give it a through trial on my return home." He ends the letter with family news and asks if Fanny is planning to preserve the peaches, etc.
