William Lloyd Garrison has been sitting for the sculptress Anne Whitney, who is making a bust of him. Garrison says: "In our legislature we have gained a few more votes on the woman suffrage question. It had several advocates in the House, and no one rose to speak against it." Garrison had a pleasant visit from Sarah Southwick and says: "It was the first time we have met since we parted last May." William Lloyd Garrison Jr. "feels very dubious as to his own situation and prospects" in the wool business.
