The truck is equipped with various fire fighting equipment, hose, ladders, bell, lamp, and chemical canister positioned on its running board. The name of Hopkinton is imprinted on the hood of the fire engine. Three major fires were fought in Hopkinton during the years 1876, 1882 and 1900.
