William Lloyd Garrison advises his brother James Holley Garrison to remain with George Benson through the winter. William L. Garrison recommends taking the Thompsonian course (a medical treatment). He gives family news. William L. Garrison has named his baby Wendell Phillips Garrison. The Whig Bunker Hill Parade "was a foolish affair, got up, of course, for political effect." There is little doubt that General Harrison will be the next president.
