William Lloyd Garrison thanks James Mott and Lucretia Mott for allowing their names to be added in support of the call for the Anti-Sabbath Convention. He hopes that Charles C. Burleigh will write a tract on the history of the seventh-day Sabbath. He praises Edward M. Davis, the son-in-law of the Motts. Garrison thanks the Motts for their gift that was enclosed in their letter. He marvels at Lucretia's endurance as a public speaker in Ohio.
