This card advertises the short-lived South Lancaster Sanitarium, which was operated from 1899 to 1902. It was affiliated with the world-renowned Battle Creek Sanitarium in Michigan, which was under the direction of medical superintendent John Harvey Kellogg. The "San" was moved to Stoneham, Massachusetts, where it continued form many years.
