Joseph Newman Bacon was the son of Joseph Bacon and Beulah Crafts Fuller. He married Sarah Anne Woodward. Sarah Emma Bacon Stanton was the daughter of Joseph Newman Bacon and Sarah Woodward, she married Louis Chalmers Stanton, son of Samuel Stanton and Anna Louisa Blodgett. Buelah Crafts Bacon Pulsifer was the daughter of Joseph Bacon and Beulah Crafts Fuller, and was the sister of Joseph Newman Bacon. She married Thomas Sewall Pulsifer. They had a daughter, Mary Caroline Pulsifer who married Albert Galliford Bale, son of John Bale and Mary Galliford. Francis Murdock was the son of Mary Apthorp Bacon and George Murdock, his maternal uncle was Joseph Newman Bacon.
