Letter from Agnes MacDonnell, [Beckenham, England], to Francis Jackson Garrison, June 23d [1877]
Description:
Agnes MacDonnell writes Francis Jackson Garrison confirming the acceptability of the hour of his arrival, and states that they will meet the Garrisons at the train depot with a carriage. MacDonnell adds that they will be able to drive "for an hour through some of our pretty lanes" should Garrison desire. MacDonnell informs Garrison that there is an article on the work of Margaret Sarah Carpenter appearing in the most recent edition of the Spectator that William Lloyd Garrison may find of interest.
