Description:
Nathaniel Peabody Rogers writes to William Lloyd Garrison informing him "The air here so tends to revive me" and that he is not returning to Concord yet. Rogers praises Garrison's article "on the attack of Foster, Dear G., will have the effect to terminate the publishing of the Herald of Freedom." Rogers says that the paper will soon lose supplies and cease to print. He then tells Garrison he "ony write[s] to apprise you of my not returning to Concord. I am still very ill but able to go out."

Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed in black ink on white paper. In the head- spine corner there is a small checkmark drawn in pencil next to the number "75," also written in pencil. Above the first line of the letter, towards the fore edge, there is a purple circle stamp surrounding the words, "Garrison MSS." On the verso, the letter is addressed to "Wm Lloyd Garrison, Boston. Mass." and is stamped with an orange circle that reads "Plymouth N.H. Nov 20".
