He describes the "tedious search after exact dates, classes of facts & - means of veritifcation &c&c - a multi-form exploring ..." Weld also mentions "that our dear S.M.S. has been for six weeks desperately ill ..." Before ending the letter, he sends his "love and Godspeed to yourself dear Mrs. Garrison & your children."
