Description:
Joseph Simpson writes to William Lloyd Garrison rejoicing that Garrison has come to visit England again. Simpson says that if Garrison is in Manchester, he "hope[s] you will let me call, if only for a very short time, for I would not like to miss you." He also invites Garrison to visit him at his home which is "within 2 1/2 hours of Manchester - in one of the prettiest parts of England". Simpson assumes Garrison's son, Francis Jackson Garrison, is with him and says that while he was "once (nearly) angry with him because he did not write & tell me of your safe return" if they come visit then "all shall be forgiven'!"
