Letter from George Washington Julian and Gerrit Smith, Centreville, [Indiana], to William Lloyd Garrison and Gerrit Smith, 1863 May 13
Description:
George Washington Julian writes to Gerrit Smith, informing him that he has already sent him "a paper containing my letter" that Smith referred to in his letter from May 5. In the letter from Gerrit Smith to William Lloyd Garrison, Smith notes he is passing on the letter from Julian to Garrison and then tells him that "our friend W[illiam] H[enry] Fish is sitting in my library".
