Description:
Mary Grew writes to Helen Eliza Garrison discussing Garrison's improving health, and stating that a letter from Garrison' son, Wendell Phillips Garrison, told her about her recovery as well as "his new work & his new home." Grew congrulates Garrison on her "propsective daughter-in-law" saying that "She always attracted & interested me, since i first saw her". She also comments on George Thompson's visit to Boston, remarking, "What a grand occassion his recption in Boston was!" Grew then shares news of new their friends, Lucretia Mott, James Miller M'Kim, Sarah Pugh, and Margaret Burleigh, saying they "are all tolerably well".
