Gerrit Smith writes to William Lloyd Garrison sharing his excitement that Garrison and his daughter, Fanny, are to visit him. Smith repeats his instructions from his last letter but recommends that they take the "7 AM train [as it] is the better one - & that brings you here to dinner." He also hopes that Garrison "would be willing to speak to our people" during his visit.
