Letter from James Stansfeld, [London, England], to William Lloyd Garrison, [1867 June 19]
Description:
James Stansfeld writes to William Lloyd Garrison saying that he has found Garrison's son and daughter are with him and he "hopes that you & they will dine with us at 7 P.M. on Saturday to meet Mazzini." Stansfeld says that if Garrison is busy that night he could "come to us on Sunday Evening after dinner, at 8 o'clock."

Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed in black ink on white, gridded paper. Above the salutation, the number "71" is written in pencil. The folder contains an envelope addressed to "Wm Lloyd Garrison Eqr 22 Southampton Street Bloomsbury". Along the spine edge of the envelope, the phrase "James Stansfeld, M.P. London, June 19, 1867." is written in pencil, vertically. The folder also contains a small visiting card belonging to "Mr. James Stansfeld Junr. 35 Thurloe Square."
