Wendell Phillips writes to Francis Jackson Garrison saying that he "would sign the circular touching Cornell - which you named?" He sends Garrison his thanks and says he he "shall simply enter in my accounts as 'expenses of printing &c'." Jackson also regrets not being able to see Garrison's father, William Lloyd Garrison, when he visited that morning.
