George Thompson writes to William Lloyd Garrison telling him of his "constant remembrance and unabated interest in all your movements." Thompson says that although he is ill, he "still strive[s] to accomplish" for the antislavery movement and if Garrison does not hear from him he "must not therefore conclude that my affection for your or my interest in the cause of abolition in the United States declines."
