Description:
Mary Ide Torrey writes Amos A. Phelps providing him instructions concerning a picture which belonged to Mr. Torrey and is now in Mr. Harned's hands. She also requests that he burn the letters Mr. Torrey wrote while he was in jail or return them to her "but do not show them to anyone else." She mentions the state of Phelps' poor health and notes that he has "one of the best of nurses in your wife."
