Description:
H.G.O. White writes to Amos A. Phelps requesting information on the issue of slavery. He writes "we should do what in our power lies to find the most eficient [sic] way & means to efect [sic] that object. The church to wich [sic] I belong proposes to make some...exertions for Foreign Missions." He mentions that he and a few others from his church in Taunton heard his remarks at the Liberty Convention. He writes that his church will claim itself to be an "Anti Slavery Church."
