E. Whitney writes to Amos A. Phelps appointing him as representative of the American Society for the Promotion of Christian Morals and asks him to attend on their behalf in Engalnd at the London Sabbath Protection Society. He writes, "Any Service you can render us in this holy cause will be gratefully acknowledged."
