Description:
Samuel Wolcott writes to Amos A. Phelps regarding confidential information with newly organized churches and missions in the Mediterranean. He includes extracts from the report of the annual meetting of the County Benevolent Association respecting Slavery. The committee was formed to "dealt a constitution of a regularly organized church." He also includes information from the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. He writes extracts of information relating to the church missions in Beirut and Hawaii.
