Description:
Sarah Moore Grimkè writes to Henry Clarke Wright regarding her inability to write him an analysis letter due to "a pressure of business." She gives quotes on slavery and freedom. She agrees in Wright's view of a Congress of Nations. She poses her thoughts on staying in Massachusetts for another year and believes it is best that she leave. She writes, "We have concluded not to pay a visit in Boston, we had fully intended doing so, but we feel excused from it in consequence of the pressure on our spirits of being there." She apologizes for not responding to the topics in Wright's previous letter.
