Letter from Mary Anne Estlin, [Bristol, England], to James Miller McKim, 1853 Aug[ust] 31
Description:
Mary Anne Estlin writes to James Miller McKim in regards to making plans for antislavery affairs. She writes, "If you would be disabused of the idea that we are no longer to be depended upon to pilot the cause in the way we have labored to do for the last four years we must leave you to make the discovery for yourselves." She writes of the poor state of her father's health upon her return.
