Description:
In this letter to William Lloyd Garrison, Richard Davis Webb writes a list "of those who enjoyed your company during the too short three days (the glorious three days!) which you favored us with it." Webb then provides the names, addresses, and often some background about the individuals Garrison met, including James Haughton, Richard Allen, Thomas & Mary Webb, and many of their family other members. He also passes a message from James Haughton to subscribe "to the Liberator and N.P. Roger's paper (whatever that may be)" [the paper is called Herald of Freedom]. Before ending the letter, Webb reflects on Garrison's visit to Ireland, remarking "you have wound yourself round our memories in a way which it will give old father Time a mighty troublesome job to twist off again."
