Letter from Richard Davis Webb, Dublin, [Ireland], to William Lloyd Garrison, 1840 [September] 2nd
Description:
Richard Davis Webb writes to William Lloyd Garrison describing the visit of George Bradburn. Webb calls Bradburn "a free minded man full of drollery & humour, and [he] is not afraid to say what he thinks." He then mentions how he misses Garrison and asks about Edmund Quincy, who he has discussed with Bradburn, as well as Garrison. Webb also sends Garrison a copy of "Non-Resistant Principles" which he has published and states, "I want to see other people puzzled, as well as myself, so that between us, the theory may be sifted."
