Letter from James C Jackson, Ipswich, [Massachusetts], to Maria Weston Chapman, 1839 [November 27]
Description:
James C. Jackson writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to planning to speak every night in the week. He suggests that John A. Collins "be relieved of some of his load," as no man can endure "what Collins has to endure without killing himself & injuring the cause." He intends to continue to labor although his wife is in poor health so he feels impelled to go home.
