Description:
George Thompson writes to Henry Clarke Wright in regards to sending him some concluding remarks from the account of the meetings they attended. He writes, "Something should be said of the deep, solemn, intense feeling by which the meetings were distinguished of the peculiar aspect in which the question of slavery was presented...the reader of the pamphlet should have placed before him, in one sentence the principle we advocated & upon which we based every demand we made that the money should go back." He writes of his timeline for making these concluding remarks.
