Description:
Francis Jackson Garrison writes to Mary Anne Estlin inquiring into whether she will call upon them tomorrow and says "we hope you are not over fatigued by your many engagements!" A second letter written a day later, June 28, 1877 in which Mary Anne Estlin replies to Francis Jackson Garrison and gives him William Lloyd Garrison's agenda while he is in Bristol. She regrets declining Mrs. Browne's invitation this evening, but she will be at the conference the following day when Mr. Garrison and Mr. Buller are present. She has Edmund Jones, the "working mans President, & lecturer on the Repeal question staying with me, & the series of meetings he addresses are in our charge." Mrs. Tanner wishes him to not go further than her house as she would be pleased to host Garrison.
