Letter from Olivia Shepard, Foxborough, [Massachusetts], to Maria Weston Chapman, 1839 [October] 14
Description:
Olivia Shepard writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to forwarding her straw bonnets for the anti-slaver fair and a desire to get them trimmed if it is not too late. She writes that they expect some of their members to be in at the fair to take charge of the goods. She writes, "I think they will need to have them appraised by some one in the city who is acquainted with the retail prices there."
