Letter from George S. Flint, Rutland, [Massachusetts], to Samuel May, 1850 Aug[ust] 10
Description:
George S. Flint writes to Samuel May saying that he has delayed answering May while he sought to procure two churches and the town hall for meetings. He tells May that "the Methodist Clergyman now station'd in Rutland has recently become very much interested in the subject of slavery, and will unite with you in the meeting." In the postscript, Flint invites May to stay at his home while he is Rutland and confesses to writing "in great haste."
