Description:
Lewis Ford writes to Samuel May informing him that H.H. Brigham wants Stephen S. Foster to attend their quarterly meeting [of the Old Colony Anti-Slavery Society] at South Scituate. He expects "to get [Nathaniel H.] Whiting for the other speaker." In the postscript, Ford asks May to send William Lloyd Garrison to Abington on September 22 or 29 for a meeting of the county antislavery society.
