Letter from Lewis Ford, North Abington, [Massachusetts], to Samuel May, 1851 July 17
Description:
Lewis Ford writes to Samuel May sending him a detailed list of expenses from the meeting in Abington, held on July 4. He tells May not to send the money, as he can hand it to him when they meet at the meeting in Worcester on August 1. After his autograph, Ford continues and states that the meeting on August 3 will be held in the Universalist church in Hanson. He says that Nathaniel H. Whiting will be there to speak and asks May if he could send another speaker, insisting "we want to be certrain of one."
