Letter from William Henry Fish, Hopedale, [Massachusetts], to Samuel May, 1851 Aug[ust 22]
Description:
William Henry Fish writes to Samuel May about preparations for the upcoming meeting in South Douglas. He tells May that he "suppose[s] all necessary arrangements have been made" and "it will only necessary to state in the Liberator that it will be at the 'South Douglass [sic] Meeting House.'" Fish says he will circulate printed notices and suggests they hold a Saturday evening meeting at Pascoag "as some there are anxious for it." He also advises May and Stephen S. Foster "to get down to Millville by the noon train in order to be in season."
