E.A. Stowell writes to Samuel May informing that at a meeting at "Mrs. Earl[e]s yesterday afternoon" she presented May's "proposition." Stowell states that "they were well pleased with it and decided to hold the Fair at New-years." She adds that Mrs. Wyman will write to Miss Weston.
