Copy of fourth state (Harrington 1). The geese on the left side of the far bank removed; the burnishing also removed much of the far bank and work in the water, which was redrawn. Two geese on the near bank now have light drypoint work. Electrotype (plate: 291 x 388 mm.; ruled border lines: 151 x 234 mm.) of fourth state printed by F. Goulding for J. S. Virtue & Co., for publication in "The Art Journal," 1883, facing p. 104.
