The heavy judge in the center has been identified as Sir John Willes (1685-1761). The thin, long-nosed sleeper was identified as Henry, afterwards Earl, Bathurst (1714-94). The other two judges were identified as William Noel (1695-1762) and Sir Edward Clive (1704-71).
