Caption: As the Boston-based USS Boston sails out of Boston Harbor for another tour of duty in Vietnam, tear-filled wives, friends and relatives of the crew wave their farewells from docks of South Boston Naval Annex. While the cruiser was undergoing repairs, a New York Congressman charged that the ship was unfit for war. The Navy Dept. denied the charges.
