James Miller M'Kim states his regrets to William Lloyd Garrison that he will be unable to, as he had hoped, join Garrison in Pittsburgh owing to being needed at his home. M'Kim informs Garrison that he has sent a letter to Dr. Clark to be read at the meeting, provided Clark feels it just to do so.
